Good morning, my name is Khyala Ngodu, I go to Dillard High School, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently a senior. I play basketball here at Dillard for the girls varsity team and I plan on playing Division 1 basketball in college next year. Some of my day to day hobbies are playing basketball. playing video games, going to the park and just spending time with friends and family. I also used to have a hobby of taking random photographs in public, which is probably the closest thing I'd say is connected to media involving me.

What I plan on getting out of this course is lot of information on the skill of analyzing many different types of medias in todays world. Such as magazines, tv shows, movies, books, articles, and more. I also want to apply what I learn in this course to every day life by taking in the lessons taught on how to examine certain contents of media, and gathering information from them. Due to not knowing about the AICE Media Studies course before this year, I'm looking forward to completing it and seeing what I can learn in the process.

Khyala Ngodu Genre: Sports Sub Genre: Basketball  I chose the genre Sports because I've been around all types of sports since I was around 7 whether it's basketball, football, swimming or track. Sports in general is and always will be something I'm interested in and involved in for a very long time.
